How to Rent a Dumpster
First time renting a roll-off? It takes about ten minutes to book. Here is everything you need to know, from picking a size to the day we haul it away.
Choose your size and book
Pick the container that fits your debris and project, then order online or by phone.
- Heavy material (concrete, dirt, brick) goes in the 10 yard heavy-debris box.
- Most remodels and garage cleanouts fit a 20 yard.
- Whole-home cleanouts and big renovations need a 40 yard.
- Order by 10 AM for same-day delivery on most days.
Prepare for delivery
Make sure the truck can reach the spot and set the container down safely.
- Clear about 60 feet of straight access and a 10–12 foot wide drop area.
- Check for 23–25 feet of overhead clearance: watch for branches and wires.
- Move cars out of the driveway for the whole delivery day.
- Placing it on the street? You will likely need a city permit.
Fill your dumpster
Load it the right way to fit more and avoid extra charges.
- Walk heavy and bulky items in through the door first and spread the weight evenly.
- Break down furniture and stack flat items to save space.
- Keep everything level with the top rails; overfilled bins cannot be hauled.
- Keep prohibited items like tires, batteries, paint and chemicals out.
- Cover the dumpster when it rains so debris stays light.
Schedule your pickup
Done early or need more time? Either way is easy.
- Request pickup online or by phone; you do not need to be home.
- Keep the area around the container clear on pickup day.
- Need it longer? Extend for a flat daily rate.
