How It Works
- 1
Pick your size
Choose a 10, 20 or 40 yard container for your project. Not sure? Call us and we will size it from a quick description of the job.
- 2
Choose the spot
A driveway or private lot needs no street permit in most cities. No driveway? The container can go in the parking lane and we handle your permit.
- 3
Book online
Pick your delivery date and see the full price before you pay. You get a confirmation with your delivery window.
- 4
Clear the approach
Leave roughly 60 feet of straight space and 23 to 25 feet of vertical clearance. Move cars and watch for low branches so the driver is not blocked on arrival.
- 5
Load within the weight limit
Keep debris level with the sidewalls and stay under the included tonnage. Anything above the included weight is billed per ton.
- 6
Schedule pickup
Request pickup online or by phone when you are done. Need more time? Extend the rental for a flat daily rate.
Dumpster Rental FAQs
Questions we hear most often. See the fee breakdown and the prohibited items list for the full detail.
Each price covers delivery, pickup, the rental period and disposal up to the container’s included weight allowance. Debris above that allowance is billed per ton, so the only variable is how heavy the load turns out to be.
If the container sits entirely on your own driveway or private property, you normally do not need a permit. Placing it on a street, sidewalk or other public right of way usually requires one from the city or county. Each city page lists the permitting office to contact.
Smaller containers suit single-room cleanouts, roofing tear-offs and concrete or dirt, which hit the weight limit long before they fill up. Larger containers suit whole-home cleanouts, multi-room remodels and bulky but light debris. If you are between two sizes, the larger one with a higher tonnage allowance usually costs less than paying overage on a smaller one.
Plan on roughly 60 feet of straight, level space for the delivery and about 23 to 25 feet of vertical clearance. Move parked cars ahead of the delivery window and check for low branches, wires or gates along the approach.
Hazardous waste, liquids, paint, tires, batteries, refrigerant appliances and similar restricted items are not accepted and can trigger extra fees at the transfer station. Check the prohibited items list before you load.
