Heavy material like concrete, dirt and brick belongs in a small heavy-debris box. Bulky but light debris like furniture, drywall and junk needs volume.
A single room or a garage usually fits a 20 yard. A whole house, a gut remodel or a commercial job calls for a 40 yard.
Measure your driveway or job site. Larger containers need more length and overhead clearance, and street placement may need a permit.

Dumpster sizes are measured in cubic yards of volume. One cubic yard is a 3 × 3 × 3 foot cube, so a 20 yard dumpster holds 20 of those cubes, roughly six pickup truck loads.
If you run out of room we can swap the full container for an empty one. When in doubt, sizing up is usually cheaper than paying for a second haul.

Plan for about 60 feet of straight-line access, a 10–12 foot wide drop area and 23–25 feet of overhead clearance for the truck to unload.
